Oniosun Victoria Erioluwa’s practice explores femininity, identity, and mental health through abstract figurative painting grounded in emotional expression. Working primarily in oil on canvas with palette knife techniques, she builds richly textured surfaces where gesture and body language take precedence over facial detail. Informed by personal experience and everyday observation, her work reflects the inner lives of women navigating relationships, solitude, and self-discovery. Based between Canterbury and Folkestone, and trained in Nigeria and the UK, Erioluwa’s paintings invite viewers to project their own memories onto layered compositions that balance vulnerability with quiet strength.
