Edozie Anedu presents Gift of Life as a limited edition archival print from his symbol-rich, emotionally driven practice.
Originally created in 2023, Gift of Life brings together animal forms, ritual-like objects, and repeating motifs within a dense, rhythmic composition. Bold colour and layered mark-making generate a sense of movement, evoking cycles of birth, protection, and vulnerability.
Central to Anedu’s work, the piece balances innocence with tension. Childlike patterns sit alongside darker tones and heavier brushwork, allowing spiritual and psychological themes to surface without fixed narrative. Influences from street culture, religion, and memory merge into an intuitive visual language that invites personal interpretation.
Printed as an archival giclée on Ilford Cotton Textured paper, this edition preserves the raw energy, surface detail, and expressive depth of the original painting, making it a striking addition to contemporary, lived-in interiors.
