About the Artist

Adulphina Imuede is a Lagos-based multidisciplinary artist whose practice explores healing, femininity, and identity through intimate figurative work. Drawing on her upbringing in a disciplined military household, she began making art as a way to process emotion and find balance. Working fluidly across watercolor, acrylic, ink, gouache, and pastel, her compositions combine softness with quiet strength, using line, texture, and colour to create dreamlike inner worlds. Informed by personal reflection and a belief in art as a therapeutic tool, Imuede’s work centres on vulnerability, self-discovery, and the layered experiences of womanhood.
